Bad breath in smokers is caused by the tobacco itself—the lungs retain a measure of the tobacco smoke for a while after the cigarette has been extinguished and these chemicals remain in the mouth, making a greater case for halitosis.

Nothing but great things to say about them. The office staff is beyond accommodating and will answer any and all... questions you have. Dentist are great at explaining and checking in on patients and with a family of 6 we've probably gone through all the hygienists and dental assistants who are also just great. AND their prices are really competitive as well. I've been surprised when I've had to go somewhere else because of time constrictions and they have some of the lowest prices. Called to schedule an appointment as I thought I had an abscess. Office was able to get me in the same day, which I was... thankful for as I had yet to find a new dentist. Check in was quick. Front office staff was very professional & friendly. Panoramic & bitewing x-rays were taken. Also inserted a tiny camera in my mouth & took pictures of all of my teeth. Dr. Birch confirmed that I had an abscessed tooth & explained to me my treatment options. I was given a print out of my treatment plan & costs. Gave me a prescription for antibiotics & scheduled me for my tooth extraction next week. Great experience overall!read more

I love this office! Great customer service. They were planning their Halloween theme dress up the two minutes I had to... wait. (Fun.) I worked in dentistry for 32 years and NEVER thought I would be able to find an office where the staff treated patients like we did at my office...and here they are in Gilbert! They treat you like family...and not a dysfunctional one. Great people...good 💕 hearts.read more

Sadly, the term bad breath does not need much explanation. You inherently know what we mean because you have probably experienced it either for yourself or through a loved one. We understand the adjective bad to mean that the odor of bad breath is unpleasant or offensive. While we can certainly smell someone’s mouth odor when they breathe, we also detect it during speaking and laughing.

It is also important to visit the dentist regularly for check-ups and cleanings to detect any oral health issues early on.
