Say Goodbye to Embarrassing Odors: Tips for Fresh Breath
While there is not scientific evidence to support an answer to the question, we believe the answer is yes. It makes sense to assume that the masks trap our exhaled air against the face, providing the opportunity to smell it. If that exhaled air contains the sulfurous gases of bad breath, we believe that our noses are more likely to detect them in that trapped environment.

Ignoring tonsil stones and halitosis can have several potential complications. Untreated tonsil stones can lead to chronic bad breath, which can have a negative impact on social interactions and self-esteem. This condition is often a key part of halitosis. When your mouth doesn’t make enough saliva, your mouth can’t clean itself. It can’t remove debris and particles left behind by food. Dry mouth may be caused by certain medicines. It may also be caused by a salivary gland problem or by always breathing through the mouth instead of the nose.

3. Quit Your Bad Habits – We can’t stress enough the importance of stopping the use of tobacco products and all forms of smoking. The risks to your overall health are too high. Finally achieving fresh breath is just an added bonus.
Poor oral hygiene is one of the main causes of bad breath. When we don't brush and floss regularly, food particles can get trapped in our teeth and gums, leading to the growth of bacteria. These bacteria release sulfur compounds that produce an unpleasant odor. Additionally, plaque buildup on the teeth can also contribute to bad breath.
Including probiotic-rich foods in your diet, such as yogurt and fermented vegetables, can also help promote a healthy balance of bacteria in your mouth. However, it's important to note that more research is needed to fully understand the role of probiotics in preventing bad breath.
Gum (periodontal) disease is caused by the buildup of plaque on the teeth. When you fail to brush and floss properly, the bacteria on your teeth causes toxins to form. This can irritate the gums, cause pockets to form between your teeth and gums that trap food, and cause bad breath.
Keeping an eye on your oral health for signs of cavities is important to prevent further tooth decay. Regular visits to the dentist can ensure any early signs are caught and teeth are receiving professional cleaning.

Called to schedule an appointment as I thought I had an abscess. Office was able to get me in the same day, which I was... thankful for as I had yet to find a new dentist. Check in was quick. Front office staff was very professional & friendly. Panoramic & bitewing x-rays were taken. Also inserted a tiny camera in my mouth & took pictures of all of my teeth. Dr. Birch confirmed that I had an abscessed tooth & explained to me my treatment options. I was given a print out of my treatment plan & costs. Gave me a prescription for antibiotics & scheduled me for my tooth extraction next week. Great experience overall!read more
