Sure, I went in experiencing tooth pain, yes the dentist did attempt to help me. What makes me the most upset is that... he had decided to grind down several of my teeth attempting to relieve "pressure" that MIGHT have been causing some additional pain around that tooth. Now, just think about that for a second.... That is the worst Dental experience I have ever sat through in my life. Why would a dentist alter multiple teeth to fix one problem. Now I have a thin void between my side molars FOR LIFE!!! Honestly, he is a complete moron, and I would never return to this office again! I have all always received excellent dental care at Premier Family Dental starting with the wonderful front staff to... Char who does such a thorough job of examining and cleaning my teeth and gently waking me up. My provider is Dr Spring. He is a top notch provider in the field. I have extensive dental work performed by Dr Spring and never had one problem with his dental work. I appreciate Dr Spring as a provider but what I really appreciate is the fact after he gives his examination Dr sits and talks and jokes with me. I know providers of all specialities are busy but for the providers that take a few more minutes with me............ that puts the special touch to my visit feeling welcomed. Thank you and see you in 6 monthsread more
Tongue scrapers are tools designed to remove bacteria, food particles, and dead cells from the surface of the tongue. They can be an effective way to combat bad breath caused by bacteria on the tongue. Here are some benefits of using tongue scrapers:
Halitosis, commonly known as bad breath, is a condition characterized by an unpleasant odor coming from the mouth. It can be embarrassing and affect one's self-confidence. Bad breath can be caused by a variety of factors, including poor oral hygiene, certain foods and drinks, smoking, dry mouth, and underlying medical conditions. Symptoms of halitosis may include a persistent bad taste or odor in the mouth, dry mouth, and a white or yellow coating on the tongue.
Maintaining good oral hygiene and making healthy lifestyle choices can significantly improve overall oral health and prevent bad breath. In addition to brushing and flossing regularly, it is important to visit the dentist for regular check-ups and cleanings.
Mucus is a normal substance produced by lining tissues in the body. Excess mucus or mucus that is yellow, green, brown, or bloody may indicate a problem. Mucus production may increase when allergies, a cold, flu, cough, or sore throat are present. Antihistamines and cold and flu medications may help alleviate excess mucus. A neti pot may be used to decrease nasal congestion and clear mucus.
Infections in the mouth, including gum and bone disease, can contribute to bad breath. The bacteria that causes gum and bone disease or infections, like a dental abscess, often has a very strong odor.
If your are suffering from gingivitis, a bad breath will definitely be one of the signs you are suffering from. This is caused by bacterial build up between your teeth and the gums. A good oral cleaning from your dental practice is the best treatment.
I am writing this series as a countdown to Halloween. It's my favorite holiday. Halloween has it all! Hayrides. Scary movies. Haunted houses. Trick or treat. Pumpkin spice and everything nice. If I can manage to pull it off, I'll be writing something with a spooky spin for one vocal community each week in October.
Brush your tongue, cheeks, and the roof of your mouth. Most bad breath bacteria live on the tongue. So brushing or scraping the tongue can make a big difference in your breath.
