No, halitosis is not contagious. Since halitosis is caused by bacteria in the mouth, it should not be passed from person to person.
In most cases, halitosis can be treated and prevented through good oral hygiene practices and lifestyle changes. However, there are instances where bad breath may be a sign of a more serious underlying condition.
Many individuals with bad breath may be unaware they have it, or their signs and symptoms may only be temporary. The odor often depends upon the source or underlying cause of the bad breath.

Maintaining good oral hygiene practices, such as brushing, flossing, and tongue scraping, is crucial in preventing halitosis. Natural remedies, dietary changes, probiotics, and oil pulling can also help freshen breath and improve oral health.
Phenomenal team! Everyone was very pleasant and friendly. The dentist talked through everything and provided great care... along with the rest of the staff. Of all the cleanings I’ve had, this was the fastest and least painful. Loved my goodie bag at the end. Moving soon, this office will be an hour away but I still plan to stay with this office.read more
